On 30 October 2024, from 3 pm to 5 pm, the launch event of the project IES—INNOVATION + EDUCATION + SKILLS will be held at Università Europea di Roma (Via degli Aldobrandeschi 190 Rome)
The project is organized by Università Europea di Roma, in collaboration with EucA and Social Warning—Movimento Etico Digitale, with the aim of reducing inequality and counteract learning loss in the most marginalized areas.
The IES project is one of the 7 winning projects of the CIMEA call, in collaboration with CRUI and MUR for the Contrast of Educational and Digital Poverty in the marginal areas of the city of Rome and the Lazio region through innovative experimentation in technical and professional institutes.
Educational and digital poverty is a decisive factor in inequality and learning problems in the suburbs of big cities such as Rome.
Thanks to the project, technical and professional institutes involved will have the opportunity to try out new innovative methods such as an educational toolkit and hands-on digital labs aimed at young students, who will be supported by university students as tutors. The project will also be an excellent opportunity to acquire digital and soft skills through volunteer work for the tutors involved.
A great opportunity for everyone to help the youngest children not to be left alone and to be the first to experience innovative educational methods that look to the future.
